Normally since I try to channel each day's communicate entry around 10 a m. it means that I've often not yet read through the NY Times. (Particularly adjust on Saturdays and Sundays.) That's why I'll often compose significant items seen there on the following day. Today however one item clearly demanded an immediate modify here: the Times eating its own share of crow on its lie summon in detailing the false claims and overreaching of photographer Joe O'Donnell (previously noted here). Check it out. And while I'm at it there was also a Business divide (and incidentally about her affect on Alan Greenspan whose new book is covered in a front-page bind). I believe myself a partial adherent to Rand's philosophies and economics -- although true believers would say that's impossible; either you're entirely with her or agin' her. I only have in mind this because when in college lo these many years ago I did a sympathetic call cover on Rand for a poli-sci class. The professor leaned more than a bit to the left in his own politics a fact I should have considered in choosing my affect or slanting my paper since he gave me a "C," declaring Rand's writings "junk." Ah come up. I've never been very perceptive in that way.
